: With much regret and disappointment I am writing this here after my recent stay in June at Hilton Vienna Plaza, Austria.I am very, very disappointed with my recent stay at the hotel. As an existing Hilton Member, this really saddened me that a reputable five star hotel like Hilton hotels didn’t live up to their high standards.I stayed in Hilton Vienna Plaza from 22/6/24 to 26/6/24 (4 nights). Reservation was made via Booking.com under my name with the confirmation number : 4509810340,I booked a King Plaza Room for the whole stay.On the last night of my stay i.e. 25/6/24 at around midnight (12 plus in the morning), I was woken up by heavy knockings at my door. I was already asleep at that time and thought that it could be some drunk guests on my floor (accidentally knocked on my door) and I didn’t bother to wake up.Not long after that, the telephone in the room rang. This together with the earlier knockings had really annoyed me as who would in the right mind, did such acts at the middle of the night!!!. For the records, I didn’t picked up the phone call.The disturbance continued as about 5 minutes later, another loud knockings could be heard on my hotel door. This time, the person introduced himself that he was from the Hotel Reception. By this time, I was already up and fuming mad. I could even hear my heart palpitating.The person outside my door told me that I didn’t pay for the hotel room that night. As far as I am aware, the confirmation received from Booking.com states that the hotel booking made was for 22/6 – 26/6/24. I told him that it could be a mistake and I can show the confirmation as proof of my stay. I then, asked what was his name which he replied was Mustafa and he is the Line Manager for the night. He informed me that there is another person with him and told me that the room rate was Euro 400/night. I asked him can this be settled tomorrow morning as I will need to check out anyway.
